HAMROH continues to expand its network of support for women entrepreneurs across Uzbekistan. A new HAMROH centre has opened in Chiroqchi district, Kashkadarya region. Established with the support of the Chiroqchi District Hokimiyat and The Stirling Foundation, the centre will serve as another hub where women entrepreneurs can gain knowledge and advice, work with mentors, and develop their businesses.
The opening of the centre in Chiroqchi marks another step in the development of HAMROH’s regional network. Following the launch of its first regional branch in Nukus and a centre in Chimbay, the programme continues to expand its support for women entrepreneurs, making quality training, consulting, and mentoring services more accessible across different regions of the country.
The new centre aims to bring quality support closer to women entrepreneurs living in Chiroqchi district and nearby communities. They will be able to receive expert advice, participate in educational programmes, work with mentors, and access support services at different stages of their business development.
The opening ceremony was attended by more than 80 women entrepreneurs, representatives of government bodies, the HAMROH team, as well as mentors and participants in educational programmes. Congratulatory remarks were delivered by Ziyoda Aminova, Deputy Governor of Kashkadarya Region and Head of the Regional Department for Family and Women’s Affairs; Bahodir Khudoyqulov, Hokim of Chiroqchi District; and Dilfuza Nurmatova, CEO of HAMROH.
One of the centre’s main areas of activity will be the Women’s Entrepreneurship Support Programme (WESP), implemented by HAMROH in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Women entrepreneurs will also be able to receive advice on starting and growing a business, improving financial literacy, accessing financing, and participating in other HAMROH educational initiatives. Anyone wishing to start or develop a business will be able to benefit from individual guidance and expert support.
As part of the event, WESP mentors, representatives of the artisan community, and women entrepreneurs shared their experiences and practical recommendations for business development. Following the official ceremony, a networking session gave participants an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss potential areas for cooperation, and establish new professional connections.

“For us, every new centre represents, first and foremost, new opportunities for women entrepreneurs. We want to ensure that women have access to quality support regardless of where they live or develop their businesses. This is why we are steadily expanding the HAMROH network, bringing knowledge, consulting, and mentoring closer to those who are ready to grow and move forward,” said Dilfuza Nurmatova, CEO of HAMROH.
